Mass protests in Washington for Gaza ceasefire

The escalation of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, following the brutal attacks perpetrated by Hamas on October 7, 2023, has direct implications on the United States: Israel is the largest recipient of U.S. foreign aid since World War II. Tel Aviv's response, with bombings and raids on Gaza, one of the most densely populated regions on the planet, provoked mass demonstrations in Washington calling for a cease-fire and an end to military assistance to Israel. Coverage of a protest organized by Jewish communities on October 18 and the National March for Palestine on November 4 for ElDiario.es:

Vaga del motor a Detroit

Ford, General Motors, and Stellantis workers, the Big Three of Detroit, started a nationwide historic strike on September 15, 2023, to ask for the return of what they were deprived of 15 years before: decent pay conditions. This is the first time that the trade union representing them, United Auto Workers (UAW), has been simultaneously on strike against all three companies. The Detroit pickets received so much attention that they were visited two days in a row by the two most likely 2024 presidential candidates: Joe Biden and Donald Trump. Coverage for elDiario.es:
